What I Want for Christmas

My family keeps asking what I want for Christmas and I am having the hardest time coming up with stuff. I mean, I want more hours in the day, more sleep, and the laundry to do itself, but thinking of things that go under the tree has been hard this year.

I have seen these all over blogs, and probably read about 80 of them to get ideas for other people ;) - so I thought this might be helpful to some. I'm going to put together a few more, but to start - here is what I want for Christmas.

What I Want for Christmas

1. Make-Up Remover Mitt: I cheated. I already bought this. I got it at some hippy store in WI where they promised me that little elves would come out of this cloth and remove all of my make-up for me, or something like that - it was all very scientific. But seriously, this thing works so well - and I no longer accidentally get remover in my eye. And no more chemicals. And I did the math and would save about $30 a year in remover. Win / win.

2. Macy Carlisle Designs: I'm obsessed. Please tell me you guys have heard of her. Everything is unique because no two stones are alike - and they are set in a 24 karat gold overlay. I love these bracelets, and she has some awesome studs on her instagram account. You can wear them with a cocktail dress or jeans and a tshirt.

3. Gilligan and O'Malley Nightgown: These jams are seriously my jam. Call me a grandma, whatever you want, they are so so comfy. As someone who hates pants (wouldn't the world be a better place if we never had to wear pants?), I need those long sleeves in chilly NC winters (funny, right? I'm looking at you WI).

4. Sling: I have a toddler, a Moby wrap, and a Bjorn, what the eff am I thinking? But these seem so helpful to throw in your purse and hold the toddler that wants to sit on your hip. Hands free for quick runs into the grocery store. Olivia still likes to be held. And there are times when Olivia still needs to be held (or I'd lose her. or my mind). But really I want this one. The one in the picture was the first google search because, for whatever reason, I couldn't clip the right one on Polyvore.

5. Clarisonic: I know. I'm so 2000andlate on this one. But I am actually starting to believe all the hype and think it might be all its cracked up to be. Anyone fallen into this fad and have any opinions on whether its worth it?

  1. I LOVE Gillian and O'Malley stuff! Their PJs are so soft! Good list! Though I agree with your initial list! If the laundry could jump out of the basket to my closet I would be eternally grateful!

  2. What a great list!! That make-up remover mitt sounds amazing - I may have to add that to my Christmas list. The jewelry is beautiful and so unique. I hope your family and friends shop your blog for Christmas.

    1. The mitt is awesome. Maybe I just wear a lot of eye makeup, but the mitt does a better job than any of my removers. With nothing but water. Crazy. Elves.
