Sloan - Seven Months

Sleep: Still sleeping through the night. 1.5-2 hour nap in the afternoons.

Eating: Still 5 bottles a day, plus 2 solids. This girl loves to eat!

Milestones: No real milestones here. She loves to scrunch her nose and sniff and laugh and she thinks she's being so funny. Her sisters love it too!

Clothes / Diapers: 9-12 month clothes and size 4 diapers. We have got to get down the bin of Emma's clothes when she was a year old - they would definitely fit Sloan and would be the right season.

Best Moment of the Month: She started sitting by herself! This makes pictures so much easier! Haha. But she loves to sit and play with toys. We put a pillow behind her in case she falls backward.

Parent of the Month: This one goes to me. I was talking and feeding Sloan and we were at a Mexican restaurant and instead of giving her a scoop of her baby food, I gave her a scoop of salsa. Poor girl. She rallied well. But I don't think she likes spicy food.

Favorites: Still such a happy baby. It has been so fun giving her solids because she just loves to eat. She likes to sit at the table with her sisters and feel like she is one of the big kids!

Emma is three!

Emma is three! Part of me can't believe it's been three years. The other part of me has been holding her to higher expectations since Sloan was born, and can't believe she was only two. Three is stubborn and sweet. Three yells "I do it myself" and "hold me please" in the same few seconds. Three loves her baby sister but is way too rough with her. Three ends every argument with "cuz that's why!" Three will only wear a tutu dress, even if the only one clean is sleeveless and it's freezing out. Three loves makeup and nail polish and jewelry and woke me up in the middle of the night bc she needed lipstick. Three looks out for her friends. Three has a heart of gold. And three ends cupcakes in her class with a speech, thanking her friends for their time together, telling them she's on to bigger and better things, the 3s class, and that she'll always remember their time together. (She doesn't move up until August - with the rest of her class). This girl makes us laugh (and cry) daily and we wouldn't change her for the world!
