Valentine's Day

I can finally show you guys the valentine's that Olivia made. I'm obsessed:

I'm totally that mom now. But this combines two of my favorite things: teeny tiny handprints and pictures of Olivia's face.

And the snack we made for her Valentine's play date.

(Kashi heart to heart, heart puffs and strawberry yogurt drops.) She had a blast with some of her favorite friends. And her only girlfriends!

The Valentine's I gave the moms:

And my sweet little Valentine herself:

It's been too cold to get good pictures outside, so these will have to do.

We're going out to dinner tonight, since Dan's mom is in town. Hope you guys have a wonderful, heart filled, full of clashing pinks and way too much sugar, Valentine's day!

  1. That is THE CUTEST card EVER!! Definitely saving this post for next year. I love all the little heart treats you came up with and her playdate sounded like a blast. You can never have too much hand sanitizer so you really thought of everything!! Well done!! Hope you have a great date night & a Happy Valentine's Day!!

    1. Thank you! We need hand sanitizer everywhere - and the little ones are perfect. Plus, we've all been so sick this winter - that everyone needs them. I love the lemon, because they don't have that middle school perfume smell, but not gross alcohol either.

  3. I love the card! Is that something she made in daycare? The daycare that Jack use to go to use to make gifts for the parents all the time. His new daycare doesn't really do gifts for us but they are always making stuff for him to take home. It's hard deciding what to store in the keepsakes box and what will have to be thrown away. At this age, I love everything he does. I hope y'all had a fabulous weekend!

    1. They did make a sweet card in daycare - but this I made for the grandparents, and then I thought it was too cute that I made one for us as well - haha. I just wanted to save her sweet kisses face and handprint. But I LOVE that daycare sends home art from Olivia. There's an episode of the Goldbergs where the mother has a storage unit of old artwork - I'm totally going to be that mom.
