Five on Friday

1. Dan attached his go-pro to the cozy coupe - and our neighbor's son, who is just a month older than Olivia pushed her all around the neighborhood. The video is adorable with them squealing and smiling. Apparently sitting in the car, getting pushed around is very tiring for Olivia.

2. Why are toddlers so cute in little one pieces? I didn't love Olivia in onesies as a baby, but now? I love them. Especially cable knit sweater ones. Where her outfit matches her snack trap.

3. Mean mugging in target. She is such a people watcher - and get's annoyed if I get in the way. Girl's gotta eavesdrop!

4. Before we even get into this one - yes, Dan dressed her. I had the outfit picked out and apparently the top doesn't fit her anymore. Dan did his best to find one that matches. Best. Apparently he really tried.

Our grocery store has cookies for the kids. Olivia insisted that her doll sit up front with her and share her cookie. Sweetest thing.

5. We finally childproofed. It took Dan awhile to get this set up. But it was worth all of the time and effort. It's officially called 'the rubberband.'

Don't hate. It keeps her out.

  1. Haha! I love it! Dan reminds me of my hubby in some respects! 1. He would say "What! The heart on the shirt is blue and so are the pants!" 2. We have "The Rubberband too"

    1. Hahaha - that was exactly his rationale! I'm so glad I'm not the only one with the rubberband.

  2. That's great!! I love the cable knit onesie - it's adorable and so is that worn out cozy coupe face. We currently have our cabinet doors tied together with ribbon :) We started to do the real deal child proof cabinet locks and couldn't get them to line up so we opted for a free option that works just the same. Good idea. Olive would be thrilled with a free cookie so I'm going to have to check out our grocery store bakeries to see if they give out free cookies. Hope you have a great weekend.

    1. I love that other's don't have the child locks. If the ribbon keeps her out, no need for screws or fancy magnet locks! You'll have to check it out - ours has a little bin in the bakery section.

  3. Haha I love seeing the Dan outfits! Cracks me up. I LOVE babies in one pieces and I'm pretty sure my kid would be in footie pajamas for the first year of his life if it was up to me. That cable knit outfit is super cute. I think the rubber band is genius because I can never figure out those child proof contraptions! I guess I'm no better than a child myself. lol Have a fab weekend!

  4. I love it when Dan picks her outfits because they are always so cute and look ecactly like a man dressed her.Our child proofing includies a double knot via a rope. We just don't go traditional.

    1. Hahaha - I'm glad we've started getting pictures of it. I really wish we had pictures of the 'tights as pants' incident :) I'm so glad I'm not the only one who child proofs like this.
