Olivia's Valentines

I really wanted to get Olivia's class some T Swift valentines, because I know Olivia would have totally picked those out. But I'm not sure her class would get it, and they might find us a little weird.

As a parent of a 15 month old, no one wants candy, unless you can get it without your child seeing it and binge eat it during their nap. Since Olivia's art skills are much to be desired, handmade wasn't in the cards. I wanted to do something practical like the bubbles for Christmas -- without spending much money.

Target dollar spot bath sprinkle cups. The kind with the holes in the bottom that 'rain.' Plus, Target dollar spot gift tags. I did large chocolate bars for her four teachers. So for 10 kids and 4 teachers, I spent $15.

Shh. Don't tell her friends yet.

    1. I'm not sure the perks of daycare outweigh missing my little girl ;) but you could give them to Mason's friends.

    1. She insisted on the neon moccs, so I made her wear the heart sweatshirt so she'd match. :)

  3. Oh Target dollar spot you have come through again! I like the idea of a full size candy bar for the teachers. I just might go that route. Last year I did the bubbles for Valentines. I think this year I'm going to do the applesauce squeezables (Jack's in a toddler room so I think they will work). I agree with Brittany on the heart sweatshirt...too cute! I need to get Jack something cute to wear to his Valentine party.

    1. I love the applesauce sqeezable idea!! I'm sure there's cute sayings on Pinterest to tag those with ... like "main squeeze" or something far more creative than I can come up with on the top of my head haha.

    1. The neon moccs were her call - the hoodie was mine so she would match haha. Olivia played with her sprinkle cups in the bath yesterday and loved them - I hope her friends do too.

    1. I love the idea of bubbles and cookies - something for the mom's too. And hopefully Hallie is still young enough that you can eat cookies in front of her. You are too sweet. I think she gets cuter as she gets more hair ;)

  7. Love this! What a great way to "shower" her friends with love (bwahaha). Honestly I'm trying to make the phrase "make it rain" sound cute but I just can't (and I feel so immature now).

    1. Haha that's awesome! As long as Olivia doesn't see it, we're totally cool with candy over here! I do miss the days where we could eat it all day every day. It's quite the stealth mission if we don't wait for naps.
