32 Weeks

Feeling like I did the day I delivered Emma. Large, heavy, having trouble getting up off the ground. Or a chair. Putting on pants is my exercise these days. We've got a long 8 or so weeks ahead of us. Luckily, we decided to demo our house to keep my mind off of how big I am.

Renovation started this week. We are flooring over our two story living room and adding a bedroom and bathroom. If everything goes according to plan (hahahaha!), it'll be finished the week the baby gets here. This should get interesting.

Up 35 pounds (thank god for that stomach bug) which is only a few more than with Emma at this point. I think I'm on track for a 60 pound gain instead of 70. Let's celebrate with chocolate cake.

31 Weeks

Had a horrible stomach bug last week. Luckily it was quick, but sleeping on the bathroom floor 31 weeks pregnant is not something I would wish on anyone. The whole house got it.

This baby moves so much more than either of the girls did. If she's even crazier than Emma, Dan and I might have to be committed.

For those that have asked, we haven't even discussed names yet. We have plenty of time. And didn't name the girls until after they were born, so we'll wing it in the hospital. It's a great plan. Promise.

30 weeks

I got an Amazon box in the mail. It was rattling and Dan goes, "prenatal vitamins?" He laughed out loud when I opened it to show the caffeine pills I had run out of. #thirdkid

Got a long lecture about my weight gain. Funny story, my Dr had my starting weight wrong. I've actually gained ten pounds MORE than he thought. I didn't correct him. The less he knows, the better. #grabmeaburger

29 Weeks

I really think this mirror is slimming. I currently weigh as much as and the belly is the same size as when I delivered Olivia. Can't decide whether I should pick a different mirror for a better picture of reality, or keep the slimming look.

Craving beets and crushed ice. (My phone autocorrected beets to beers, it really knows what's up.)

My iron is the lowest it's ever been, but I still feel great. I felt awful with low iron with Olivia, and was just in a ton of pain while pregnant with Emma, but I really feel great so far.

I'm organizing all the things, doing a ton of house projects, starting a big renovation at the end of this month and it's driving Dan nuts. Luckily the people at Lowe's think I'm 9 months pregnant so they always offer to help me out. So I don't give birth in the store.

28 Weeks

Are you guys loving the scenery of the work bathroom selfie? I keep forgetting to ask someone to take these, and find myself in bathrooms very often. Like every hour. And sometimes once during my commute home.

Closed the door on my belly today - I've lost all sense of self and space.

27 Weeks

You know the scene in Willy Wonka where the keep telling the girl not to eat any more candy. But she does anyway. And then she blows up like a balloon and they have to roll her out of there? That's my life.

Officially up 30 pounds. Which wouldn't be as bad if I didn't gain around 35 pounds in the third trimester with each kid. Who's rolling me out of work in a few weeks?

26 Weeks

It was a blanket kind of day today.

Absolutely craving beets. Weird, right? They have them at the salad bar at work and I have half salad, half beets every day. I also found containers of them at the grocery store already cooked. I am eating so many beets, I'm peeing pink. TMI - whatever, you asked. Someone should stage an intervention.
