Quarantine Life

I honestly didn't think we'd be home this long. 2-3 weeks max. I set up activities for each day. A science project, an art project and a "creative snack" where I show them the Pinterest picture and they create it. We have a schedule that is loosely followed - mostly for order, so Emma knows what to expect and we have activities constantly so Dan and I can work from home. Everything is 30 minutes. They have movement, zoo Facebook lives, literacy, reading, math and a walk each day. They love the walk. I think it's good for me to get out and get exercise, so it has been really nice.

Each day has a theme and the art, science and snack go with the theme. It's a lot of work on Sunday nights to plan out, but so worth it.

I really am going to miss all this family time and time with my little ones when life goes back to normal. One million parts bc of one million pictures.

Emma's 4th Birthday Party

Emma wanted a gymnastics party for her birthday. First kids party we haven't been able to serve alcohol for the parents. Leave it to Emma!

Wisconsin for Thanksgiving 2019

We went to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving this year. Flying with three littles is no joke, but they were pros. These girls love an adventure, so they are always willing to help out.

We were only there a few days, but it was so wonderful to be with Dan's family. The girls love all the attention and playing in the basement. Apparently I took zero pictures, but it was a wonderful time.

Halloween 2019

We actually got to have Halloween twice this year! As my favorite holiday, this was a dream come true. It was threatening really bad storms on Halloween, so about half of neighborhoods chose to move it to the next night. The day of we got all dressed, went to a neighborhood party, it rained like crazy, cleared up, and the girls went trick-or-treating. Night two, the girls got dressed and headed out for a little more trick-or-treating. It was perfect because they don't have the energy to cover very many houses, especially at night.

We had all princesses, of course! But I did make Sloan wear Olivia's witch costume night two which was my favorite thing ever! All the heart eyes.

Fall 2019 part 1

Some fun moments that didn't make the gram. Sloan likes to steal our champagne. And Emma likes to dress herself.

Sloan found a pineapple core in the trash and she pulled it out and ate it. Thought we were wasteful. Yuck, haha.

Sloan finally got a seat at the big table and was so happy!

So many lunches packed.

My doormat I painted that says "I smell children."
She could not look more homeless.
