Summer 2019 part 1

These are the pictures that didn't make Instagram. 

4th of July 2019

The girls were supposed to head to the bike parade to decorate their bikes before the pool party. They were being slow getting ready, so we decided to decorate bikes in the driveway and then head to the pool. BBQ, popsicles, popsicles in our drinks, and a thunderstorm sending us home was the perfect 4th of July.

We ended it with fireworks in the driveway with neighbors.

Sloan's First Birthday!

Dan and Sloan are two days and thirty something years apart. So we decided to have a joint birthday party for them. We had it at a brewery and did a beer and lemonade theme. It was super laid back and absolutely perfect!

I can't believe our family's favorite baby ever is one year old.

One. Fastest year of our lives. Sloan, you are a delight. The world's best baby. Best sleeper. Best eater. Happiest little thing. You are a real live baby doll to your big sisters. They dress you and tote you around. Emma squeezes your belly like you're her lovie. You are dying to run around with your big sisters. And you love the chaos of your big sisters giggles, screams, and running around. You love food and get really offended when people are eating without offering you something. You came into this world with 4 people who love you more than anything! And I hope you know how incredible that is - and how deserving you are of such love.  You've been with us for a year and it's been the best year of our lives. Love you most in the world sweet Sloany baby and Happy birthday! But, please, never get bigger.
