Wisconsin for Thanksgiving 2019

We went to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving this year. Flying with three littles is no joke, but they were pros. These girls love an adventure, so they are always willing to help out.

We were only there a few days, but it was so wonderful to be with Dan's family. The girls love all the attention and playing in the basement. Apparently I took zero pictures, but it was a wonderful time.

Fall 2019 part 2

Fall festival in my parents neighborhood.
Parker's birthday party where they made their own pizza and cookies.

Our attempt at melting snowman cookies.

Olivia's school picture that I didn't order.

Halloween 2019

We actually got to have Halloween twice this year! As my favorite holiday, this was a dream come true. It was threatening really bad storms on Halloween, so about half of neighborhoods chose to move it to the next night. The day of we got all dressed, went to a neighborhood party, it rained like crazy, cleared up, and the girls went trick-or-treating. Night two, the girls got dressed and headed out for a little more trick-or-treating. It was perfect because they don't have the energy to cover very many houses, especially at night.

We had all princesses, of course! But I did make Sloan wear Olivia's witch costume night two which was my favorite thing ever! All the heart eyes.

Fall 2019 part 1

Some fun moments that didn't make the gram. Sloan likes to steal our champagne. And Emma likes to dress herself.

Sloan found a pineapple core in the trash and she pulled it out and ate it. Thought we were wasteful. Yuck, haha.

Sloan finally got a seat at the big table and was so happy!

So many lunches packed.

My doormat I painted that says "I smell children."
She could not look more homeless.

Olivia's 6th Birthday Party!

Olivia's favorite thing about birthdays is getting all of her friends together. She chose the same bouncy house / arcade place from last year - which is super easy for us! Not much we can do for decorations, due to their rules, but that also means a lot less clean up! She chose a princess theme, and had a blast!

Olivia is 6!

My beautiful big girl is 6!

Six. This doesn't even seem real. She's well beyond the toddler years and now a big kid. I read back through these yearly posts and she has the exact same personality from a baby. She loves an adventure and planning a good party. She gets her energy from being around people she loves, and pretends to be mute around strangers. Quality time is her love language. She's rocking kindergarden and reading and math homework. She's always looking out for Sloan and such an incredible big sister. She loves her baby dolls and wants to be a mom when she grows up. She'll be the world's best mom. Olivia - you deserve the entire world. I only hope we are doing your beautiful soul justice as parents. Happy 6th birthday my big girl! I can't wait to see the incredible things life has in store for you.

Pumpkin Shirts

No idea why I love matching monogrammed pumpkin shirts so much. And why they must be white. But every year I look forward to this!
A few outtakes at the end because it takes 100 pictures to get a few decent ones.

New York City

My mom and I were headed to NYC for a baby shower and I decided to bring Olivia along. I woke her up that morning, told her it was surprise adventure day, she had breakfast in the car and we headed to the airport. She was thrilled and loves surprises!

I packed her the night before and forgot to pack her lovie. Worst mom ever! So our first stop was trying to find a lovie.

We went to the color factory (Olivia's favorite!) and the illusion museum. We met up with Dan's brothers, who live there. We also went to the Starbucks reserve, which was really cool. Day two we went to serendipity 3 (not great, overhyped!), Dylan's candy bar, FAO Schwartz, and the Lilly sale. Took a pedicab home which was Olivia's second favorite thing. That night was the baby shower and Olivia had a blast helping set up and stayed up until midnight.

Our last day we squeezed in the statue of liberty, sea glass castle and Walstreet with Coach. We were exhausted by the end but had so much fun!
